Better than Actual?! Chhichhore (2019) Chess Scene Analysis

Remember the game of chess from the movie Chhichhore?! This game was actually played in Round 20, World Championship 1990, organized in Lyon, a city in France, and it has been played between former world champion Garry Kasparov and Anatoly Karpov. In the movie, this game was played between Bevda as White and Bio Reader as Black. The point worth noticing is that towards the end, Bevda came us with a move that was not played by Kasparov in the actual game, and also this move played by Bevda is better considering the position.

In this video, I have analyzed this game from the movie Chhichhore and discussed about some of the variations at different positions.

I have used clips from this movie named Chhichhore. The description of the movie is given below-

  1. Very good of the Chichhore makers to use one of the best game played by Gary Kasporov πŸ‘

  2. Keep up the good work Saikat. The video has excellent and unique content.

  3. I must give credits to you for creating such a masterpiece. The analysis was beautifully curated and it was so intriguing that I had to see the video till the end. My surprise element in the video was that I was able to understand the entire game and the difference from the actual WC match without knowing the game of chess. I would like to confess here that I haven't played the game of chess so far and after watching the video, I regret not knowing the game. Thanks for bringing out this new dimension which was unthinkable. Liked shared and subscribed.
