Coffee Chess Analysis: Novice Noah vs The Chess Giant! Does the 7 Foot Baller Have What It Takes?

Most of you here have probably heard of the Coffee Chess YouTube channel. It is one of the biggest (and best) chess channels in the world right now. I got invited to come and play with the guys, so of course I was thrilled to take the opportunity, and I honestly had a real fun time. Here, I got paired up against Novice Noah, the 16 year old prodigy who will be MUCH better than me not long from now!

This game is far from chaotic or crazy by any means. It was slow, strategical, and “Karpovian” if I had to choose a word to describe it. I, playing against the King’s Indian Attack, was able to build a slight advantage going into the endgame. From there, I tried my best to keep the pressure on Novice Noah and turn the slightly better endgame into a dub. Let me know what you guys think!

  1. Okay, new video request….Your take on the BongCloud opening with the best lines. Especially the version that I have had some fun with…opening up the Kingside pawn F4 followed by king and knight. I am also experimenting with running the king up the kingside after opening up with the Borg, G4 and 5 followed by H4. I want to have a killer Bongcloud basically. 😛

  2. smart way to advertise your channel. It works! D
