  1. Black Lion, Pirc, Modern and KID stand for the most entertaining games. Great to watch, cheers

  2. Very instructive game. Learned a lot by the Nf-g1 maneuver, and the potential tactic with Nxe4 and Qa4+ if d6 had been played was sweet as well. I remember that tactic from KID theory and it's a pleasure to discover it's a tactic in Tiger's Modern as well.

  3. Рыжий, почему так мало видосов выкладываешь?!

  5. That looked like a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

  6. Surprised you got out of that opening so safely!

  7. this game illustrates well the diff between a very good player and a GM…great vid !

  8. Instructive game, well done Simon! Thanks for sharing — Cheers!

  9. Great lectute simon ! I would like to ask you: How much time do you spend analyzing your own games?

  10. Wonderful game mr. Simon. Congratulations sir. As always I hope to see you #1.

  11. very nice si, smart play after a ballsy opening

  12. It's not just poor memory that made you miss e6 instead of Nf6 Simon it was as much a case of seeing a 'different' game. An inferior game.

  13. "Antanas Zappaloskius. I hope I pronounced that reasonably well".
Sure, you only added a few syllables. Other than that, great job…

  14. Very interesting video as I have personally trying to become a modern specialist and been slowly building my modern repertoire for 3 years based mainly on Tiger's advises. I most of the time play against 1.e4 g6 2. d4 Bg7 3.Nc3 … a6!?. An interesting move, which has been played by Rapport for example.

The line played is called flexible dragon in Tiger's book.

  15. This video is so incredibly clear and concise. Every point the GM makes helps to clarify something important that's happening in the game, and something about chess generally, and few words are wasted. I especially appreciated it. It is a nice game of chess, too.

  16. Nice my boys playing bositional, and he's been grinding endgames! I'm sure Charlie dug that game

  17. Hardest move to find a move with the knight back- this is a perfect illustration of that. Good defense GM
