  1. Peter, congratulations on your victory against Fabiano and thanks for the great analysis!

  2. oh woow! Thank you for uploading this awesome video !

  3. woow superb analysis by leko … lots of hidden resources for both sides … this is real chess.

  4. So amazing to see all the subtle insights of such an amazing player. This is what separates the strong players from the super strong players. Such lucidity and so many minutes details are seen. What a genius and amazing commentator Peter is!

  5. Wonderful video! Thank you.
Peter Leko is for sure one of the very best commentators in the world.

  6. Chess players: offended because the opposition didn't play the best defense against them.

  7. AGAD was right. Amazing analysis. Thanks Mr. Leko 🙂

  8. Thanks Leko for share the analysis of your art piece..! Congrats..!!!

  9. Referring to 9:50 : The b-pawn is in extremely poisoned many many more positions . Not only in this one. I see so many players capturing this pawn without any hesitation at all and get their queen trapped (or similar stuff). So for anyone out there reading this: Next time before capturing a "b"-pawn make sure it's not utterly poisoned as Peter Leko explained.

Have a look at this example (which I had many times already):
    1. d4 d5 2. c4 Nf6 3. cxd5 Qxd5 4. Nc3 Qa5 5. Bd2 Qb6 6. Nf3

You certainly DO NOT want to take on b2!

  10. Peter Leko, the man that surprises me until some months ago when i "found him" in some videos doing the chess commentator job i think on "Chess24". After almost 30 years that i played competition chess tournments i never study his games simply because i thought they were to much solid and not that dinamic for me. Now, i understand it better. Peter Leko is a excellent chessplayer, and most of all a amazing chess teacher. I´d never realized the profund chessmaster that he truly is and the almost unique reasons why he played and still play the moves he choose. In the past i simply don`t get it his chess moves! Why? I could not acess to his explanations! I analysed many games in a chess blog i was running; "viriatovitchchess". Peter was never there! So sorry for not trying to understand the way Peter see the chess game. Magistral chess from him! Really well done! Cheers for you GM Peter Leko! "viriatovitch"

  11. Besides the game..How he remembers all the moves and where the places were before he shows the variations is what most amazes me

  12. The one "thumb down" comes from Fabiano…

  13. Magnus 12 games = 12 draws against Caruana
Leko 1 game and 1 win

  14. The world needs more analysis videos like this one.

  15. Wow 😮. I checked this with an engine and it agrees with Leko!

  16. You should use a beautiful wooden chess board, not this cheap plastic and better light. I would film it from different angles, slowly very smooth moving cameras(4K) will simulate a very pleasant 3D impression (Contact me). And you should do this with every interesting game and it would be interesting, to hear the ideas and thoughts of both players!!!

  17. If your name is Peter you are great at chess Analysis

  18. the win was purely psychological. he plays fabi in more than won match, fabi wins more often. simple. this win doesnt prove much.

  19. Peter Leko in his heydays was always under 10 in rankings. He was challenger to the world championship against the champion Vladimir Kramnik, and almost defeated him. However, the series ended in a draw. One of the games of that series is very famous, where Leko played Qd3 which was invisible even to engines. You may find a very good analysis of that game on Agadmator's channel.

  20. I love to see analysis on a real chessboard

  21. That was a beutiful game. I really enjoyed Peter's analysis.

  22. Stop writing that reply Johnathanthan says:

This is the first time in his career leko declined a draw
